Welcome to the Friends of the Mead Website.
We are a registered charity (1093374) and member of the NCPTA.
Our role at the Mead Community Primary School is to work in partnership with the school to help provide a wide range of events and activities for children and their families to enjoy.
We also raise funds to support the development of areas or activities in addition to the normal school provision. Over the last few years these have focused on grounds development including:
Tree planting
Building of vegetable gardens
Outside seating
Sail shades for sun protection
Creation and development of willow tunnel
Pond and nature area with viewing platform
Sensory garden
We also run a range of events like
Summer fairs
Discos
Ladies Shopping Evenings
Our aim is to support the school and get everyone involved in having fun together!
